Your program or project is worthy of media attention. Sharing that you received a grant highlights the power of community-funded support, expresses gratitude and encourages others to join your mission. Media coverage also helps raise awareness of your organization and the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. To help share your impact, we’ve provided a Grant Recipient Media Kit.

CFSCC is always interested in sharing our grantees’ stories. Telling your story helps tell our story! Compelling storytelling helps communicate to our donors the importance of supporting programs and projects like yours. We often feature stories of our grantees in our marketing materials, including our e-blasts, website news stories and social media.

The following materials are intended for the use of CFSCC grantees and will help you get the recognition your program/project and organization deserve. Here are some suggested ways to announce your grant award:

1Recognition

Please acknowledge the Community Foundation’s support with our name and logo in publications, programs and signage for any event that received grant funding. We prefer the term “supporter” rather than “sponsor”.

Always use our full name – Community Foundation of St. Clair County – when mentioning the Community Foundation on first reference if a social media tag or logo with our full name is not included.

2Logo Use

At the bottom of the page are three versions of the primary Community Foundation logo, including a white transparent logo for use on a dark background. Use whichever best fits your publication preserving original colors. We also have specific committee logos, so please use the one that aligns with the committee(s) stated in your grant notification email and grant letter if you've received a competitive grant.

We encourage you to use the CFSCC logo where suitable.

3Social Media

Social media is a free and effective means to spread your message! Engaging, authentic content is the goal for any account. Always try to use an image when you post.

Please be sure to like or follow our accounts and tag us in grant-related posts, photos and events.
