Mike has worked in philanthropy for 20 years specializing in Family Foundations and Community Foundations while at the Council of Michigan Foundations and while serving as President/CEO for the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area (CFHZ) for 10 years. During his time leading CFHZ the organization transformed its donor services to include a deep emphasis on working with professional advisors. Mike is a prolific speaker having presented at more than 85 philanthropy workshops and served as a keynote speaker for 18 major events including philanthropy conferences and a commencement.
