Please join us in welcoming our incoming 2019 Board Trustees Donna Niester, Steve Schweihofer and John Tomlinson.

Steve Schweihofer is the CFO at Foster Blue Water Oil. He has been a part of the Foundation on the Finance and Investment Committee and as a C3 Member. His service to the community also includes Treasurer of St. Vincent DePaul-St. Mary’s, and as a member of the SC4 Foundation Board. His professional achievements include Board of Director for Michigan Petroleum Association and a member of Governmental Affairs for Michigan Petroleum Association.

John Tomlinson is well known as a Probate Judge in St. Clair County. He has a long-standing record of community service as a 25-year Board member of both the St. Clair Child Abuse & Neglect Council and IMPACT/Center for Human Resources. He has also contributed to the work of the Foundation as a Member of our Grants Committee.

Lastly, we welcome back former trustee and Board chair, and founding member of the Women’s Initiative, Donna Niester. She is President & CEO at Acheson Ventures, a CPA and was one of the founding members at Austin, Niester, Schweihofer & Finnegan. Her involvement in the community is widespread including James C. Acheson Foundation, Michigan Service Commission and as Advisor to the Niester Family Fund. She has also previously held volunteer and leadership roles with Port Huron Hospital/McLaren.

As we head into our 75th year, we are excited for what these Trustees, new and old, will bring to the work of the Foundation. We look forward to continuing our impact on St. Clair County and beyond.
