What we do
Community Heart & Soul brings residents together to identify and honor the unique character of their town and the emotional connection of the people who live there. The exciting goal of Heart & Soul is to activate residents to take part in shaping their community's future.
How we do it
Stories! Asking who lives, works and plays in your community what they love most about the area can explain how a community is shaped and the direction it should be heading. Through Community Heart & Soul, local voices will use their stories to endure the community's identity and desires are at the forefront of every project moving forward.
Why we do it
Communities thrive when they are heading in a shared direction guided by the hopes and dreams of residents. Strong partnerships between school districts, municipal leaders, community organizations and residents who love their hometown leads to a more prosperous region.
Who is doing it
Residents of the Yale Area and Marine City. This is a resident-driven community engagement program, and you are welcome to join.
